A fantastic show. I really don’t have anything to critique here, but perhaps surprisingly, MAKER is my favorite track. There’s something about the speed, Dave’s vocals, the Peter Gabriel-style drums, and Peter Griesar’s keys that make it sound magical. Also a big fan of PAY FOR, GRANNY, BEST, BACK YOU UP, and HALLOWEEN, all stripped down to varying degrees but not losing anything at all in terms of punch. TWO STEP is a great closer, and MINARETS and HELP MYSELF make for an A+ encore. It’s too bad they didn’t multitrack this show, because it would be among the very best LT releases.
