Another very solid release; I feel like starting with DMBlive Vol. 8 management really hit its stride with selecting fantastic shows. There are a few performances that stand out as true "wow" moments: #41 (Roi goes *off*), JIMI (again, Roi), TRIPPING (Carter), and the nontraditional, all-Dave solo encore of LITTLE THING and WATCHTOWER. In between there are some very strong even if not standout performances: LIE IN (although the jam ends kind of abruptly), TWO STEP (I love the energy in this era; it's short and snappy), RHYME, and SO MUCH into TOO MUCH. What stops this from being rated even higher is the run from CRASH through TYPICAL, which while not bad from any means felt like a step down in the context of the rest of the show.
