Listening to this release for the first time in a long time, I was thinking to myself, “I’ve heard AUDs that sound better than this SBD. Why the heck did they release this show?” And then I revisited the band’s blurb about this release: “At an early stage in the band’s popularity in Europe, the crowd in attendance sings along to the songs in this first audience mic recording to be released.” Hmm. Color me skeptical. The performances are indeed top-notch, but the sound quality is poor on average and quite variable from moment to moment. For that reason alone I wouldn’t recommend a repeat listen, but it earns a respectable 1.
