I think they could release every show from the Dave and Tim Winter 1999 tour and I would rate it a 3 (or HC) on my scale of -1 to 3, which would necessitate my revisiting the scale. That's how in the pocket they were for the entire tour. While this release doesn't match the highs of LT41 (nor is it as good as 2/6/1999 or 3/14/1999, for which excellent tapes/remasters are in circulation), it's excellent through and through. Highlights include STONE, LAST STOP, SEEK UP, NANCIES, and TYPICAL, among many others. The dialogue is, as always, hilarious (although listening to multiple Dave and Tim Winter 1999 shows in succession, you're reminded that Dave's habit of repeating jokes is not a new one). It's too bad there wasn't a multitrack recording of this show, because it does suffer from clipping and imbalance from time to time.
