This is a great show, although I have a hard time saying whether it's a bit better or a bit less good than DL25. The standouts for me are TRIPPING (great energy), JANE (something about this performance just hits different), WHAT WOULD (the stop-start jam is great, as are Carter's fills), #36 (it's so joyful, and Roi is great), ANTS (I love the oddball jamming), the MINARETS > TYPICAL run (always a treat), and finally the NANCIES closer. I don't think this HALLOWEEN encore is as strong as the one on DL25, although it's still quite good. It's really too bad we don't have a Live Trax from 1994 (yet); there's so much to love from this year and while these releases are a treat, the sound quality is clearly a step below.
