This is a solid show, although I'm not gaga over it the way others have suggested they are. EVERYDAY is a very strong opener on this night, and I love the Eh Hee interpolation. DREAMGIRL is a crappy song that nevertheless sounds great, and I love the horn work. HUNGER is one of my least-favorite songs, but it's hard-hitting and performed well, despite a bit of a breakdown before the bridge. TOO MUCH is solid, with good variations thrown in. LIE IN is really strong through Boyd's solo, but I felt Butch's solo missed the mark, and there was a lot of slop to it, and then the reprise feels lifeless. Dave really lost the plot with #41, but it was saved by Tom Morello—a really great jam. AM. BABY INTRO is very strong, but I'm not wild about the drawn-out outro. TWO STEP is average until the jam, which was rocking. ANTS is a highlight. JIMI leading up to the jam was meh, but the jam was awesome. STAY: fantastic. RAPUNZEL: Everything until the jam is ouchie: Pantala is a wreck, Dave's having trouble hitting the high notes, you can hear his voice echoing around the arena. But the moment he sings, "Maybe we all go out and have a drink later" and the jam kicks off, it's pure fire. Double encore, 40 total minutes of music in it... like I said, a really solid show, but not my favorite.
