Live Trax Vol. 34

This release is a great example of what I love about the Live Trax series. It gives us shows with crazy-amazing guest performances like LT7 and LT20 (and others we haven’t reached yet, like LT39 and LT47), but also absolutely standard (setlist-wise) all-timers like LT3, LT8, LT22, and LT31. This show is very much in the vein of the latter. Just the five of them playing a set that, while rare for the tour, isn’t particularly notable outside of WYNONA and the power encore of TYPICAL and DRIVE. And yet, it’s outstanding almost top to bottom, a show I return to often. PROUDEST, WYNONA, NANCIES, GRANNY, TYPICAL, and DRIVE are particularly notable, but really can start listening at any point and there will be a smile on your face within 30 seconds. Having read Alexis17’s backstory of how the release came to be, I appreciate it even more, and hope for more releases like it moving forward.
