A wonderful release in which pretty much everything sounds great. More than 30 years later, this show stands up against the very best. And at 1 hour 45 minutes, it’s a super digestible length. It’s hard to pick favorite moments because it’s top-to-bottom strong, but if forced I’d say PAY FOR, NANCIES, BACK YOU UP, MINARETS, and HELP MYSELF. Maybe the only thing I don’t love is how WATCHTOWER ends. But really, you can’t go wrong if a performance from this release pops up on shuffle. As always, the inclusion of the dialogue is appreciated—especially that rare moment of Tim speaking.
