Live Trax Vol. 9 Night 2

Night 2 is better, although not by much. CRASH is a strange opener but it grew on me by the end; I really like Butch on it. As a New Yorker, I hate SWEET CAROLINE but have to admit Dave sounds great on it. IDEA OF YOU was even better than night 1. MAKER was beautiful again, but not as good as night 1. STOLEN AWAY was strong, but not at the level of the 2014/2015 acoustic versions. TRIPPING was a great set closer, GRAVEDIGGER an absolute top-shelf E1, and AM. BABY INTRO a great lead-in to HALLOWEEN. Speaking of HALLOWEEN, what a sloppy start, and it falls apart again towards the end. Still, I remember being in the room and it was great. Sadly, DIE TRYING, GREY ST., SEEK UP, DON'T DRINK, NANCIES, and TOO MUCH are all examples of good songs that had weak performances.
