Live at Sweet Briar College

We need more solo shows released. There aren't many to choose from, but they tend to be gems, like this one. I would have rated it a 3 if not for the many pretty bad flubs (#41, BACK YOU UP, and TRIPPING among them). Highlights include LITTLE THING, NANCIES, TYPICAL (maybe the highlight of the show, especially the vocals), BLUE WATER (crazy to have gotten a full solo performance of this in 1996), LIE IN (the bridge is awesome), and #36. The latter is particularly awesome; the song isn't particularly complicated or hard to play on the guitar, but Dave's playing takes it to another level: there's so much texture, so much percussive feel... it's hard to believe it's just his voice and a guitar. As an aside and not that it impacts enjoyment of the release, but the tracking is annoying... please just start each track at the start of the song.
