Warehouse 2026

It’s been a long time since a show I attended was officially released, so I’m very excited to have this, especially since it lives up to my real-time feeling of it being a very good (albeit not epic) show. Here are some of my favorite moments from the show: I have a video of Rashawn nodding as Jeff goes off in his STONE solo. It’s become a bit of a core memory and I can close my eyes while listening and see it. The lift up at the 6:25 mark of LIE IN is awesome; Stefan is going crazy, Dave is wailing, Tim’s solo is crescendoing, the horns are going, and the keys are layering beautifully beneath. Beginning at 7:10 and through the end of WATCHTOWER, I love how the horns are playing off one another, Jeff especially. Rashawn is in the upper register, but it works for me in this instance. From 4:50 through 6:15 of AM. BABY INTRO is among the very best of Buddy; he’s great while the rest of the band (very solidly) does its four-note thing. Carter’s still an absolute beast. The end of the TYPICAL jam, beginning at 8:34 and running through the tension release at 9:07, is choice. Finally, SO RIGHT is an awesome closer (remember this was the first-ever time it closed a show), especially beginning at 4:25. Separated by only five shows, this is, to me, clearly superior to LT72 (which I've dropped to a 1), and of the six overlapping songs, I rank four of them better on this release (STONE, SATELLITE, PROUDEST MONKEY, SO RIGHT) and two as pushes (MADMAN’S EYES and CRASH).
