Not to get too ahead of things, but this show is easily the least good of the four-night stand. With the exception of SAY BYE, which is great (Carter's drums sound so good during his intro), I don't find any of the performances to be particularly notable. I do really enjoy Stefan's noodling over the DREAMGIRL prelude, but Jeff handled the sax work better in 2013 than Roi ever did, at least in my opinion. LOUISIANA is solid, but (again, spoiler) not close to the best of its *four performances in this four-night stand* (yeah, that's nuts). SO MUCH almost falls apart a few times, and Dave's voice gives out on him, and the sloppiness continues into the bridge, which is lackluster. The encore isn't much better; OLD DIRT HILL is rough, and ANTS is serviceable but a far cry from the best it can be. Do yourself a favor and skip this one.
